Athletistic/ MMA. Taras Kiyashko, trainer of Russian mixed martial arts fighter Sergei Pavlovich, shared his opinion on his ward’s win over American fighter Derrick Lewis.

“I was expecting the fight to end in a knockout. Derrick could see that he was very shocked because he went down head first, and so I’m not considering the premature stoppage. more headshots won’t do anyone any good. I’m sure if the fight had continued, the result would have been the same, and Derrick would have taken more damage,” Kiyashko quotes MMA Meta Ratings.

On July 31 at UFC 277 in Las Vegas, Sergey Pavlovich defeated Derrick Lewis by TKO in the first round. Many sports experts, including UFC President Dana White, believe fight referee Dan Miragliotta stopped the fight early and should have continued.
