Athletistic/MMA. Russian fighter and UFC lightweight world champion Islam Makhachev believes that Arman Tsarukyan should be grateful to him for his UFC career.

Tsarukyan made his promotional debut in April 2019, facing Makhachev on short notice. Despite losing by unanimous decision, Tsarukyan was able to establish himself as a top fighter.

Makhachev also promised to have a second fight with his compatriot.

“I think Armand should thank me for the first fight. I wouldn’t call it an even fight, even though a lot of people say that. I won at every turn. Armand still demands revenge. He had many opportunities to come on as a substitute. I know before UFC 302 he was offered a fight with me. In any case, our revenge is inevitable and we will settle it soon,” Makhachev quotes MMA Mania.
