Andre Ward: Joshua needs to stop bulking up. Then he’ll be faster and throw more punches.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia

Former world champion and 2004 Olympic champion Andre Ward thinks he’s British Anthony Joshua must lose muscle mass before the rematch with the world champion in WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

“Anthony Joshua has built muscle mass over the years, you need to stop doing it. Then he will feel faster and he will want to throw more punches. In this case, he will not get into a situation where the blood fills the muscles in the middle of the fight, after which he will not be able to strike his opponent.”

“Of course, it’s hard for him to do this, because he has always been like that. In addition, we do not know where he is psychologically and stylistically, as well as what he is doing in his camp, shedding or gaining mass. So now there are more questions than answers.

Usyk’s promoter, Alexander Krasyuk, believes that Joshua will show stronger boxing in the rematch.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
