Bellator Russian Fighter Usman Nurmagomedov was taken out of the arena in Newark (New Jersey, USA) after the main fight of the UFC 302 tournament between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier, reports MMA Junkie.
Makhachev won by fifth-round submission. Immediately after the fight was stopped, Usman Nurmagomedov rushed into the octagon from the audience. He was then arrested by security forces and taken from the arena.
Makhachev defended his UFC lightweight title for the third time in a row. Today, the 32-year-old Russian has 26 victories and one defeat in mixed martial arts.
