Russian light heavyweight champion WBC, IBF, WBO Artur Beterbiev told that all his thoughts are linked to recovery and preparation for the fight with WBA belt holder Russian Dmitry Bivol.
Beterbiev was supposed to fight Bivol for the absolute light heavyweight title on June 1 in Saudi Arabia, but a month before that date he injured his leg. Last Saturday, Bivol defeated Libyan Malik Zinad by technical knockout in the sixth round, and immediately after this fight, the chairman of the General Directorate of Entertainment of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al al-Sheikh, announced that the fight between Bivol and Beterbiev would take place on October 12 in Saudi Arabia.
– I’m recovering now. All I think about is how to recover quickly and get back in shape. We have a date for the fight. We have a rival. So we will prepare ourselves,” Beterbiev told .
