The leader of the UFC lightweight rankings remains Russian fighter Islam Makhachev, who beat American Dustin Poirier last week ahead of schedule. The top 3 in the lightweight division also includes Russian Arman Tsarukyan, Brazilian Charles Oliveira and American Justin Gaethje.
In the UFC rankings, regardless of weight categories, Makhachev also takes first place. The American Jon Jones is in 2nd position and the British Leon Edwards in third.
