Russian judokas will prepare for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games in Sochi, said the president of the Russian Judo Federation

Russian Judo Federation President Sergei Soloveichik told that the team will prepare in Sochi before participating in the Paris Olympics.

The Russian Judo Federation on Tuesday revealed the list of athletes who will participate in the 2024 Olympic Games. The list includes seven men and five women, including 2023 world champion Inal Tasoev and 2020 Olympic bronze medalist Madina Taymazova.

— As always, in Sochi. We will go to Paris just before departure. Preparations will take place in Russia,” Soloveichik told .

The games in Paris will take place from July 26 to August 11. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced in December 2023 that it would allow Russian athletes who successfully qualified for the 2024 Olympics to have individual neutral status without a flag, anthem or other national symbol. The IOC also banned the participation of athletes associated with security forces or who have expressed support for the SVO.
