Brandon Moreno opens up about his fight with Deiveson Figueiredo in the UFC

Interim flyweight champion Brandon Moreno made it clear that he wants to face the Brazilian and talked about the weather for the possible fight

After winning the interim UFC belt, Brandon Moreno is ready to fetch the main object of the flyweight category. However, the fighter knows that taking the linear title will not be easy, as the Brazilian Deiveson Figueiredo promises to do everything to maintain the post of champion in the world of fights.

Even with the distance to the fight, Brandon Moreno insisted on calling Deiveson Figueiredo to the octagon after taking the interim belt. There, the fighter challenged the Brazilian and received a friendly response. In an interview with “Combate”, the Mexican reported how he interpreted the unusual moment.

It was funny, because I felt that at that moment he was nervous, I thought he was going to throw all that hate and fury, he seemed very aggressive. But when he saw my posture, he took a breath and everything was fine. That interview, I swear, was from the heart. It’s true, my daughter was watching the fight in Las Vegas and I don’t want her to see her father doing stupid things on television.”, said Brandon Moreno.

Don’t get confused, we want to fight for sure! He said he would be ready in winter, in December, let’s go in December! He wants to go to Brazil, the problem is that the UFC usually puts these events in Vegas. We’ll see what happens, but I’ll be ready. I have this cut and my foot swelled up a little from the kicks but I will be ready”, he added.

No hate in it, just peace. Just real competition. I know all the drama is fun, but it’s not my way. I love the country, I got to know it in 2020 when I went to face (Jussier) Formiga, I got to know Brasília at least, and it’s beautiful. There’s nothing (hate) just love for you”, concluded Brandon Moreno.
