The Ukrainian absolute champion spoke about his former rivals in the ring.
Oleksandr Usyk avoided answering the question of who is stronger – Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury.
Comparing his former rivals in the ring, the absolute heavyweight champion gave an unexpected example.
The Ukrainian compared famous athletes to water, which can be different, indicating that they are both strong, but they also have different characters.
“Anthony Joshua is a classic boxer. And the gluttonous stomach, my friend Tyson Fury…
You see, it’s like still water and sparkling water. Anthony Joshua is still water, soda is Tyson Fury,” Usyk said on the 3 Knockdown Rule podcast.
We remind you that Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by split decision and became the first absolute heavyweight champion since 1999.
It was previously known that Usik could change the weight category again.
