Former US President Donald Trump suggested that the former UFC lightweight champion was Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov – the greatest fighter of all time.
Trump and Nurmagomedov met last week following the conclusion of UFC 302 in the United States. The former UFC champion was Islam Makhachev’s runner-up in the fight against American Dustin Poirier.
Nurmagomedov, who dropped 29-0 without losing a single round, is probably the greatest fighter of all time. I met him at the UFC in New Jersey. He’s a very smart guy. “Great things await Khabib in the future,” Trump wrote on the social network.
Nurmagomedov announced his retirement in October 2020 after defeating American Justin Gaethje.
