The head coach of the Russian freestyle wrestling team, Khadzhimurat Gatsalov, has determined the composition of the national team to participate in the BRICS Games, according to the website of the Russian Wrestling Federation.
The BRICS Games will be held in Kazan from June 12 to 23.
10 Russian athletes will participate in the tournament: Ramiz Gamzatov (up to 57 kg), Bashir Magomedov (up to 61 kg), Abasgadzhi Magomedov (up to 65 kg), Kurban Shiraev (up to 70 kg), Anzor Zakuev ( up to 74 kg), Magomed Magomayev (up to 79 kg), Malik Shavaev (up to 86 kg), Alan Bagaev (up to 92 kg), Bady-Maadyr Samdan (up to 97 kg ), Shamil Musaev (up to 125 kg).
The freestyle wrestling competitions at the BRICS Games will take place on June 17 and 18.
