Former world boxing champion Alexander Povetkin noted that he is unlikely to resume his career.
Povetkin fought his last fight in 2021. Earlier it became known that he became deputy governor of the Vologda region.
– Rematch with Dillian Whyte? Honestly, I would love to remember it, but now it’s hard to talk about it. I probably won’t come back, although anything can happen in life,” Povetkin said, as quoted by RB Sport.
Povetkin, 44, has 36 wins, three losses and one draw. In August 2021, he lost to Dillian Whyte via fourth-round TKO and quickly announced his retirement.
