Our Business Heavyweight Champion Viktor Nemkov surpassed title contender Shamilya Gamzatova of 6.7 kg on the eve of the “Our Business 84” tournament in St. Petersburg.
On the morning of June 11, the fighters underwent an official weigh-in ceremony. Viktor Nemkov showed on the scales a figure of 112.2 kg, Shamil Gamzatov – 105.5 kg.
For 37-year-old Nemkov, the fight with Gamzatov will be the first defense of the heavyweight belt after debuting in a new organization. Shamil Gamzatov, 33, will fight for the first time after his exclusion from the UFC and defeat to Michal Olekseichuk in October 2021.
Also on the eve of the tournament, the participant of the co-main fight, Muhammad Eminov, could not meet the category limit of up to 68 kg, showing an advantage of 950 grams. His opponent Evgeny Ignatiev weighed 67.9 kg on the scale.
