The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia wants to organize a professional boxing league, the creation of which will benefit from 4-5 billion dollars, reports Reuters, citing its own sources.
The chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al el-Sheikh, worked with the government to create a plan to acquire major boxing promotions.
PIF is currently in negotiations with Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions.
