In May 2023, the Russian Wushu Federation announced that the participation of the country’s national teams in this sport in any international competition is possible only if all state attributes and symbols of the Russian Federation are present. The BRICS Games will take place from June 12 to 23 in the capital of Tatarstan.
– I think it was the right decision to refuse to participate in the World Championships without the flag and anthem of the Russian Federation.
