The World Boxing Association has given the Ukrainian boxer a month to agree on a fight date with his opponent.
The World Boxing Association has sanctioned the fight between WBA Super flyweight champion Ukrainian Artem Dalakyan and undefeated Costa Rican David Jimenez. Boxing Scene reported it.
The organization gave until August 31 for the boxers to agree on the fight.
If Dalakyan and Jimenez cannot agree, the fight will be put up for boxing auction.
It will be remembered that in the last fight, which took place in November last year, the Ukrainian won by technical knockout in the ninth round of Luis Concepción.
Jimenez defeated American Ricardo Sandoval (20-2, 15 KOs) in July in a fight for mandatory contender status for the WBA belt.
