The famous Ukrainian boxer shared his forecast for the fight for the interim WBC welterweight champion.
Alexander Gvozdyk will not win the interim WBC welterweight title. Ukrainian boxer Taras Shelestyuk thinks so.
According to him, the upcoming fight will be very difficult for Gvozdyk – a younger opponent will not easily give up victory.
“My prediction: Benavidez will probably win by late round stoppage.
This match will be difficult for the Ukrainian. If Sanya wins, it will be a bigger sensation than Denis Berinchik’s win against Navarrete.
As always, I will support our Ukrainian boxer and my teammate from Ukraine’s gold team, Sanya Gvozdyk. I only wish him victory in this fight,” said Shelestyuk on his Taras Boxing Channel.
We remind you that on June 15, Gvozdyk will fight David Benavidez for the interim WBC welterweight champion.
Earlier, Gvozdyk and Benavidez had a conflict of views.
