Nakrob Fairtex (66-21) managed to eliminate Khalilov (24-13) in the first round with a precise elbow strike. Having broken the clinch, Nakrob chose a point-blank target and delivered a powerful blow with his right elbow, which sent the representative of the Archangel Michael team from Yekaterinburg to the canvas.
Referee Ricky Sewell started the countdown and, after seeing that Khalilov was unable to continue the fight, stopped the fight. At 2:02 of the first round, Nakrob was awarded the victory by knockout.
Thanks to this victory, which became the most important of his career, the Thai fighter landed a contract with the main roster of the ONE Championship.
