Russian wushu player Bondarenko wins second gold medal at BRICS Games

Russian Kirill-Zui Bondarenko won the Taoshu discipline in the Wushu-Taolu competition at the BRICS Games, taking place in Kazan.

Bondarenko scored 9.845 points, Iranian Hossein Gheblenamay Moghadam (9.810) took silver and Russian Ilyas Khusnutdinov (9.800) closed the top three.

Earlier, Bondarenko won in the changquan discipline in Kazan and took second place in the gunshu discipline.

Russian Pavel Muratov took second place in the Wushu-Taolu competition in the Taijiquan discipline, with a result of 9.830 points. The victory was won by the Chinese Pan Junke (9.845), the bronze by the Iranian Abolfazl Gharenbaghi ​​​​(9.705).

Aksiniya Shchukina brought bronze to Russia in the qianshu discipline, with 9.705 points. Chinese Liu Yanlin won (9.740), Iranian Zahra Kiani (9.715) took silver.

The BRICS Games will take place from June 12 to 23 in the capital of Tatarstan.
