Russian athletes won seven gold medals in women’s wrestling at the BRICS Games in Kazan.
The victories were won by Elizaveta Smirnova (up to 50 kg), Alexandra Skirenko (up to 55 kg), Svetlana Lipatova (up to 59 kg), Ekaterina Koshkina (up to 62 kg), Valeria Dondupova (up to ‘to 65 kg), Vusala Parfianovich (up to 68 kg) and Olesya Bezuglova (up to 72 kg).
The silver medalist was Marina Simonyan (up to 57 kg) and the bronze medalist was Milana Dadasheva (up to 53 kg).
The BRICS Games in the capital of Tatarstan will end on June 23.
