“I think the UFC has high hopes for Ikram. They always want him to fight in major tournaments with good opponents. He even had a fight planned with Paulo Costa. They have high hopes for Aliskerov.
The calves behave very well. There are fighters who do well in the gym, but can’t perform as well in the cage. But when Ikram steps into the octagon, he seems to do 200% more. I have this feeling. I have known Aliskerov since childhood. I think Ikram is a future UFC star,” Khabib said on his YouTube channel.
On the night of June 23, the UFC on ABC 6 mixed martial arts tournament will take place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). In the main fight of the competition, former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will face Ikram Aliskerov. Initially, Whittaker was supposed to fight Swedish-Arab MMA fighter Khamzat Chimaev, but he was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a serious illness.
