Russians Alina Pushkar and Azalia Amineva won gold medals in the boxing competition as part of the BRICS Games, which are being held in Kazan.
Pushkar defeated China’s Jingwen Wang by unanimous decision in the final match in the weight category up to 63 kg.
Amineva’s opponent in the weight category up to 66 kg was the representative of China, Ailidana Abudularishiti, the fight also ended with a unanimous decision of the judges in favor of the Russian.
The BRICS Games in the capital of Tatarstan will end on Sunday.
