Russian middleweight Ikram Aliskerov said he won’t make excuses after losing to Australian Robert Whittaker in the main event of the UFC tournament in Saudi Arabia.
On Saturday, the 31-year-old Russian lost by first-round knockout to Whittaker. Aliskerov entered this fight on short notice.
– No excuses. I regret nothing. It was a great experience against one of the best in the sport. I am young, I will work on my mistakes, learn and I will return to business soon. Thank you all for your support,” the fighter wrote on the social network.
During his MMA career, 31-year-old Aliskerov has 15 victories and suffered two defeats. Whittaker, 33, has 26 wins and seven losses.
