The Yard, a digital marketing agency, developed a study that identified the celebrities who pollute the planet the most with their private jets.
The report rounded up the celebrities who have racked up the most carbon emissions on their private air travel since the start of 2022. Among the leaders is the former IRA boxing champion Floyd Mayweather .
As noted in the study, his air travel resulted in the release of 7,076.8 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This is 1011 times more than the average annual value for a person. That being said, Mayweather has flown more flights than any other celebrity, taking 177 flights this year – an average of 25 flights per month, or almost one flight per day.
