“The policy remains the same,” the WBC told .
At the end of February 2023, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that federations exclude Russians and Belarusians from participating in competitions due to the situation in Ukraine. WBC President Mauricio Suleiman said the organization had removed boxers from Russia and Belarus from the rankings.
