The events occurred on March 23. Da Silva fought with compatriot Andre Lima during the UFC tournament. At one point, the athlete bit his opponent’s hand. There were visible teeth marks on it.

As a result, the UFC decided to terminate its cooperation with the athlete. Now the Brazilian will also have to pay a $2,000 fine.
