A fight between British heavyweights Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KO) And Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KO) officially approved.
The fight will take place on September 21. The venue for the event will be London’s Wembley Stadium. In it, Dubois will defend the IBF heavyweight world title, which he received today after the Ukrainian Alexander Usik renounced the belt.
The fight will be the headliner of a big boxing evening. The undercard will feature fights such as Tyler Denny – Hamza Shiraz, Anthony Kasame – Josh Warrington, Liam Smith – Josh Kelly, Joshua Buatsi – Willie Hutchinson and Mark Chamberlain – Josh Padley.
Dubois finished the fight with Filip Hrgovic in the eighth round. The fight took place as part of the “5 on 5” event in Riyadh. The British heavyweight won the title of “interim” IBF champion in a fight with the Croatian.
Joshua defeated former UFC world champion Francis Ngannou in his last fight. After the fight, Eddie Hearn named Anthony the No. 1 heavyweight boxer in the world. Joshua himself spoke about his desire to fight the next fight in June, but he was offered to postpone the fight to September.
