UFC: Vicente Luque disappoints and is surpassed by Belal Muhammad

Vicente Luque was close to victory, but Belal Muhammad overcame his Brazilian wrestling rival and won another one in the UFC; check out!

In the early hours of Saturday, 16th, to Sunday, 17th, the Vicente Luque faced Belal Muhammad at the UFC and it didn’t do well. Despite the Brazilian having hit some blows, he suffered from his rival’s wrestling and left the fight with a unanimous defeat granted by the judges of the confrontation. Therefore, he wasted the chance to get very close to a fight for the UFC welterweight belt.

Vicente Luque was the one who tried the most in the first moments of the fight and always tried to keep the fight in the fight standing up. However, the Brazilian ended up suffering when the fight went to the ground and didn’t do well with the intensity of Belal Muhammad on the ground. Remembering that, before the fight, Vicente Luque was fifth in the UFC welterweight ranking, while Belal Muhammad was in sixth place. The tendency is for the Brazilian’s rival to surpass not only the opponent from last Saturday, 16th, but also Gilbert Durinho, who was fourth and recently lost to Khamzat Chimaev, who is currently third.
