Shane Fury, brother of former WBC world champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KO), believes that in the fight for the title of absolute world champion, the Ukrainian and holder of the WBC, IBO belts, WBA and WBO Alexander Usyk (22-0, 14 KO) played with strength and clarity.

“I was honestly shocked when the victory was given to Usik, before the judge’s verdict was announced I thought I had defeated Fury.

But after rewatching the fight, I thought Usik won. I rewatched the fight and, in my opinion, Usyk won it,” Fight News quotes Fury’s brother.

Recall that on the night of May 19, Usik inflicted the first defeat of his professional career on Tyson Fury in a fight that took place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The victory was awarded to the Ukrainian by split decision: 115-112, 113-114 and 114-113.
