Russians won six gold medals on the first day of the international judo tournament in Chelyabinsk

Russian judokas won six of the seven gold medals on the first day of the Russian Judo Tour international tournament in Chelyabinsk.

The winners of the competition were Gamzat Zairbekov (weight category up to 60 kg, Dagestan), Abrek Naguchev (up to 66 kg, Krasnodar region), Kamila Bodurova (up to 63 kg, Sverdlovsk region), Taisiya Kireeva (up to 70 kg, Chelyabinsk region), Alexandra Babintseva (up to 78 kg, Moscow) and Maria Ivanova (over 78 kg, Samara region). Ahmajod Masudi of Tajikistan also won gold in the weight category up to 73 kg.

On June 30, athletes will compete for 7 more sets of awards; winners and prize-winners will be known in the weight categories up to 81, 90, 100 and over 100 kg for men, as well as in the categories up to 48, 52 and 57 kg for women.
