On Friday, June 28, two Russians performed at the ONE Friday Fights 68 tournament – Kamran Nabati and Alaverdi Ramazanov. Nabati managed to win a $10,000 bonus and a contract with the main league ONE Championship worth $100,000.
Nabati won a $100,000 contract by destroying Suablac
Kamran Nabati received a six-figure contract with ONE Championship after sending Suablak (Suablak Tor Pran49) to the canvas during their ONE Bantamweight (65.8kg) Muay Thai bout.
The fight was supposed to give Suablac a chance to redeem himself after his first knockout loss to Nabati in 2023 outside of ONE, but instead the Russian phenom virtually repeated the scenario of their first fight, forcing Suablac into darkness for the second time.
Nabati chased his Thai opponent around the ring, pinned him against the ropes, then delivered a counter left hook to Suablac’s jaw just as he threw a left.
Suablac collapsed, the referee stopped the fight at 1:54 of the first round and the Archangel Michael fighter earned a life-changing victory that extended his record to 21-0.
Petchanong stopped Ramazanov in the second round
18 months after his last appearance, former kickboxing world champion Petchanong reintroduced himself to fans around the world with an exemplary fight against former titleholder Alaverdi Ramazanov. The fight took place under kickboxing rules in the ONE bantamweight division (65.8 kg).
The 38-year-old Thai athlete stepped on the gas right from the start. Ramazanov fought back as best he could, but Petchanong grew more and more confident. At the beginning of the second round, Petchanong felt that victory was close and immediately after the bell he unleashed powerful blows on Ramazanov. Under pressure, the Russian turned his back and was unable to answer the referee’s count.
With a TKO victory at 1:59 of the second round, Petchanong extended his outstanding record to 359-56 and re-emerged as a dangerous world title contender in the division.
ONE Friday Fight 68 took place at Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok. A total of 11 fights were announced on the card according to the rules of Muay Thai, kickboxing and MMA. The broadcast in Russia was carried out on the channels “” and “Match! Fighter”.
