The Russian team won first place in the team at the European Boxing Championship among boys and girls aged 15-16.
The competition took place in the city of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Russian boxers won 22 medals: 16 gold, three silver and three bronze.
Gold medals were won by Anastasia Golunova (weight category up to 50 kg), Kristina Borisenko (up to 54 kg), Ekaterina Nesvetaeva (up to 60 kg), Daria Antipova (up to 75 kg), Samira Itonieva (over 80 kg), Iman Magomedov (up to 52 kg), Pavel Kondrashov (up to 57 kg), Prokhor Startsev (up to 70 kg), Vladislav Lavrinenko (up to 80 kg), Bella Zueva (up to 57 kg), Irina Korobova (up to 63 kg), Anna Buzuleva (up to 80 kg), Umar Ibakhiev (up to 46 kg), Islam Magomedov (up to 50 kg), Maxim Sobolev (up to 60 kg), Rustam Gasanov (over 80 kg).
