Jesse Rodriguez made the best climb in the top ten
WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Usik retained the top spot in the ranking of the world’s best fighters regardless of weight category (P4P) according to the authoritative magazine The Ring.
Compared to the previous edition, the top 3 places also remained unchanged. The second place is occupied by Japanese Naoya Inoue, the third by American Terence Crawford.
The WBC super bantamweight champion Jesse Rodriguez has moved up in the top ten. The American had previously moved up from bantamweight and in late June knocked out Juan Estrada, winning the title in a new weight class.
Recall that in May, Usyk defeated Briton Tyson Fury by split decision in a fight for the title of undisputed champion. Subsequently, the “Gypsy King” activated the rematch option – it is already known that the return fight will take place on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
