Russian heavyweight fighter Sergei Pavlovich believes that his compatriot Alexander Volkov I had to make contact myself due to misunderstandings regarding the approval of a fight at the UFC tournament in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
The heavyweight fight took place on June 23 and ended with Volkov, 35, winning by unanimous decision. For Pavlovich, 32, the loss was the third of his career with 18 wins. Later, in an interview with , Volkov said that Pavlovich “should have contacted him in case of a misunderstanding.”
