Russian Greco-Roman wrestler Hrayr Oganesyan won gold at the European Championship (athletes under 20), which is taking place in Novi Sad (Serbia).
Hovhannisyan defeated Armenian Gaspar Terteryan in the final in the weight category up to 67 kg. Also on Wednesday, Dorji Shungurtsikov (up to 60 kg) won silver and Maxim Averin (up to 97 kg) won bronze.
In total, Russian classical wrestlers won three gold, one silver and three bronze medals at the tournament in Serbia.
The European Championship will end on July 7.
