ASA Veteran Andrei Goncharov will make his professional boxing debut on July 20 in Moscow in a tournament featuring a fight between Magomed Ismailov and Vladimir Mineev, tournament organizers told .
Goncharov’s opponent in a 4-round fight in the weight category up to 75 kg will be another mixed martial arts fighter, Artur Solovyov (11-7 in MMA). Goncharov has 16 wins and four losses, his last MMA fight took place at the ACA 156 tournament in April 2023.
The fight between Mineev and Ismailov will last 8 rounds. These fighters fought two fights under MMA rules in 2018 and 2021, ending in a draw and a victory for Mineev, respectively.
Also, as part of the main card of the July 20 tournament, the following fights will take place:
Up to 55.2 kg: Chingiz Natyrov (Russia) – Sergio Daniel Rosalez (Argentina), 6 rounds;
More than 90 kg: Evgeniy Ganin (Russia) – Oliver Daunda (Cameroon), 4 rounds.
