UFC fighter Dariush explained why he considers Makhachev the favorite in a potential fight against Tsarukyan

UFC fighter Beneil Dariush believes that the Russian Islam Makhachev will win a potential fight with his compatriot Arman Tsarukian because it distributes forces better during battle.

Earlier, journalist Ariel Helwani reported that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was exploring options to stage a fight between Makhachev and Tsarukyan.

“I think Arman has a good chance against Islam, but I would give preference to Makhachev: 60 to 40 or 55 to 45. A close fight is expected, but Makhachev distributes his forces better during the fight,” Dariush said on social media. MMA Addict.

Earlier, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) disqualified and fined Tsarukyan for a fight with a fan at UFC 300. The incident occurred on April 13 ahead of Tsarukyan’s fight with Brazilian Charles Oliveira. The victory in the fight made Tsarukyan a contender for Makhachev’s lightweight championship belt.

During his MMA career, Makhachev has 26 wins and one loss. Tsarukyan has 22 wins and 3 losses.
