Ukrainian last fight held in April last year
Ukrainian boxer of the first welterweight Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs) announced his imminent return to the ring. The athlete expects to reach the top level again.
Recently, the Ukrainian has been marked by ambiguous statements in social networks. Redkach said that politics and sports should not be mixed. To his Twitter post, he added a photo with Russian Dmitry Bivol.
The boxer also criticized the wife of Alexander Usik Ekaterina for her statements about the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Redkach last fought in April 2021, losing to Regis Prograis by TKO in the sixth round. Ivan claimed that the American hit him below the belt, but the Georgia State Commission unanimously rejected the Ukrainian’s appeal on the outcome of the fight.
