James Ali Bashir expressed his view on the reasons behind the disappearance of the former British world champion.
Anthony Joshua lost to Oleksandr Usyk because of the wrong coaching staff. This is what the former coach of Ukrainian boxer James Ali Bashir said.
In his opinion, the specialists who worked on the British boxer did not have any qualifications to train fighters in the heavyweight division.
“In both fights with Usyk, the main obstacle for Joshua is that those in his corner, Robert Garcia, do not have any victories to train at this heavy level.
Training a heavyweight is not like training a boxer in any other weight class. Here you are dealing with a mastodon in the ring. This is far from the same thing as training a light weight or a lightweight. Here you are faced with a completely different task,” said Ali Bashir in an interview with Seconds Out.
