Russian crew Eduard Nikolayev of the KAMAZ-master team became the winner of the sixth stage of the Silk Way rally marathon in the truck category.
Nikolaev covered the 440 km special stage in 3 hours 38 minutes 41 seconds.
The second place was taken by another Russian crew KAMAZ-master under the control of Dmitry Sotnikov, who was 2 minutes and 35 seconds behind the winner, and Belarusian Sergei Vyazovich from the MAZ-SPORTauto team was third (the gap was 5 minutes and 10 seconds).
Sotnikov leads the overall standings, ahead of Viazovich by 3 minutes 11 seconds.
The seventh stage, which will be 385 km long, will take place on Thursday, July 11.
The Silk Road Rally ends on July 15 in Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar.
