Athletistic / MMA. Number three in the UFC heavyweight rankings, Russian mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Volkov has learned the name of his next opponent. The 35-year-old Russian will soon have a rematch with the promotion’s former interim champion, Frenchman Cyril Gan.
According to AgFight, the second fight between Volkov and Gan will take place on October 26 as part of the main card of the UFC 308 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Russian and the Frenchman had their first fight in June 2021. Then the judges unanimously gave the victory to Gan (50-45, 50-45 and 49-46).
Alexander Volkov has been competing in the UFC since 2016. Currently, he has fought 48 MMA fights, winning 38 and suffering 10 losses.
Cyril Hahn has 12 wins and 2 losses in mixed martial arts. The 34-year-old Frenchman now occupies second place in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
