Athletistic/ Boxing. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has commented on the cancellation of blogger and boxer Jake Paul’s fight with boxer Hasim Rahman Jr.

“It’s a mess. It all started with Tommy Fury. After that, Hasim Rahman stepped in and they announced a boxing night booking Madison Square Garden. You can’t just step into the ring and become a world champion, you can’t start a promotional business and have successful events right away Jake is learning I’m sure he was unlucky and just cheated but now he will be under pressure from people who criticize,” Hearn said.

Jake Paul was originally supposed to fight British boxer Tommy Fury. The fight was scheduled for August 6, but Tommy was banned from entering the United States, after which Paul offered the fight to American Hasim Rahman Jr. Hasim accepted, the date of the fight remained the same and the condition was confrontation in the framework of the first heavyweight – up to 90.7 kg.

According to the contract, Hasim Rahman Jr., who weighed 98 kg before the fight, agreed to undergo regular weigh-ins. On July 29, Hasim’s team reported that he had lost less than half a kilogram, causing the New York State Athletic Commission to raise the weight limit to 93 kilograms. After that, Jake Paul’s team pulled out of the fight.
