The promoter of the Ukrainian boxer Bob Arum reported some details on the negotiations regarding the next fight.
Vasily Lomachenko’s next opponent could be American Gervonta Davis. This was officially announced by the promoter of the Ukrainian boxer Bob Arum.
The functionary confirmed that negotiations are in the final stages. The parties have yet to reach a date and proposed location for the fight between the IBF and IBO title holders and the WBA lightweight champion.
“It’s going to be a fight in Vegas, at the MGM or T-Mobile Arena we’ll determine a date when there are no other events there,” Fights ATW quoted Arum as saying.
Let’s remember that in his last fight, Lomachenko defeated George Kambosos ahead of schedule, and Gervonta defended his full WBA belt for the first time, knocking out Frank Martin.
Earlier, another world champion Shakur Stevenson called on Vasily Lomachenko to enter the ring against him.
