Batyrgaziev will spend the money donated by the state for the Olympic victory on the construction of a hall in his native village in Dagestan

Tokyo Olympic champion boxer Albert Batyrgaziev in an interview with , he said that he had not yet spent the money donated by the state for a gold medal, but that he intended to invest it in the construction of a gym in his home village of Gemetyube, Babayurt district in Dagestan.

– Four million rubles were supposed to be paid by the state for winning the 2020 Olympics. How were these funds spent?

And I haven’t spent it yet. But I plan to build a sports hall in the village of Gemetyube, where I was born and lived until I was six, then moved to Nizhnevartovsk. In general, the process of opening the gymnasium has been started, all the documentation has been prepared. Construction will begin soon. This is exactly where I want to invest the funds donated by the state.

I also want to open a fund, because among my friends there are some who want to participate in this business.

– And as for Nizhnevartovsk, where did you become an athlete?

— The construction of a huge martial arts hall is underway in Nizhnevartovsk. Everything in the project is approved. I also try to actively participate in the sporting life of the city.

– Also, after Tokyo Gold, you were presented with a BMW X5 car.

I actively use it. The car is diesel, so I did not overtake it in Nizhnevartovsk, it is now in Dagestan. I use it in my spare time, it helps me a lot. There are many beautiful places in our country, especially Dagestan. It is not necessary to go abroad.

– Do they recognize you? The car is branded.

— To be honest, I immediately removed those stickers. I have activated maximum incognito mode, so they rarely recognize the car.
