Russian mixed style fighter Magomed Ismailov assessed his readiness for the upcoming fight against Vladimir Mineev.
The boxing match between Mineev and Ismailov will take place on July 20 in Moscow. The rivals had two fights under MMA rules in 2018 and 2021, one fight was a draw, the other fight was won by Mineev.
– The atmosphere is excellent. We had many misunderstandings before, but now we can sit together peacefully.
We had a confrontation in MMA that didn’t work out for us. Vladimir then won.
Our relationship is hanging by a thin thread. It always seems like we could turn on each other.
If I beat him in boxing, on his territory, he will want revenge. I know his character. And then I will wait for him in the MMA cage.
“I cleaned myself up. I feel good. There will be no reference to my past injury after the fight,” Mineev said on .
