The Combat Sports Anti-Doping Service (CSAD) has announced that Russian fighter Irina Alekseeva has accepted a 12-month suspension for violating the UFC’s anti-doping policy. This was reported by the promotion’s press service.

Alekseeva tested positive for values ​​consistent with exogenous testosterone administered in a urine sample collected by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) on June 21, 2023.

Thanks to the cooperation of Alekseeva and her team with the CSAD, the disqualification was reduced to 12 months. The disqualification period began on October 15, 2023.

The Russian will receive the right to compete in the UFC again on October 15, 2024.
