Elijah Holyfield son of a legendary boxer Evander Holyfield will audition for a well-known wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment during the premium show week SummerSlam.

Elijah is 26. Holyfield’s son played college football for the University of Georgia. In his professional career, he played for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Carolina Panthers and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Evander himself was a participant in WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in 2007. Holyfield’s boxing match against Matt Hardy ended in a no contest.

Holyfield is a former absolute world champion in cruiserweight and heavyweight in the era of three belts. In 2024, Oleksandr Usyk repeated his achievement. It should be noted that the Ukrainian became absolute in the heavy and super heavyweight weight categories in the era of four belts.

SummerSlam will take place on the night of August 4-5 in Cleveland. Traditionally, during the period of big shows, WWE holds tryouts for everyone who wants to try their hand at wrestling.
