ASA Heavyweight Champion Yevgeny Goncharov In a conversation with , he cited the reason why the Briton Tom Aspinall will finish the fight with the American earlier than expected Curtis Blades .
At the UFC Manchester show, interim heavyweight champion Aspinall (14-3) will defend his title against Blaydes (18-4) in the evening’s co-main event. The fighters previously met in July 2022, with Blaydes winning by technical knockout due to the Briton’s knee injury.
“I think Aspinall will knock out Blaydes. Tom is better in stand-up, he is faster, he has good boxing, he has good kicks. And we know that Blaydes has been knocked out several times. Therefore, I consider Blaydes to be a bit of a broken fighter who cannot take a punch. Aspinall lands his powerbomb and Blaydes ends up on the canvas. And then you may not have to finish it – the referee will stop the fight. Aspinall will definitely wreak havoc,” Goncharov told .
Goncharov himself will face Adam Bogatyrev in the ASA Grand Prix final on August 16 in Moscow. All tournaments of this league are broadcast on channel.
