Athletistic/ Boxing. Russian mixed martial artist Magomed Ankalaev challenged reigning middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
“When I become champion, you will be the first,” Ankalaev wrote on one of his social networks, noting Adesanya.
Recall that in the last fight, Ankalaev won by technical knockout in the second round against Anthony Smith. It is the Russian’s ninth consecutive victory since March 2018, when Ankalaev suffered his first defeat of his professional career.
Adesanya defeated Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 to retain the title.
