The former world boxing champion has no plans to retire after losing his last fight.

Alexander Gvozdyk does not plan to end his sports career yet. The former world light heavyweight champion revealed his plans for the near future, which include a big fight.

According to the Ukrainian boxer, he will hold his next fight in Las Vegas on September 14 on the undercard of the Saul Alvarez – Edgar Berlanga fight, and by the end of the year or the beginning of the next he is preparing for a megafight.

I will fight on Canelo’s undercard. This has been confirmed to me. I mean, I’ll be back.

Eddie Horn’s fighters don’t want to box. They only want to fight with themselves or other British people. I am open to any challenge. I will reveal one more secret – I have a very interesting future fight at the end of this year or the beginning of next year with a top opponent. Considering I’m now number one in the WBC rankings, maybe it’s for that title again.

Not yet known. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, because we have to come back and close the defeat in September. I hope I can do it without any problems. And then there are very interesting options for December or January, February. I already have a name, but it’s still being processed. This is another big megafight for me.

This is boxing and anything can happen here. The idea is that in September I will fight a non-first-tier opponent on Canelo’s card to come back and feel everything I need to feel to come back. And then in December or January there will be another big battle,” said Gvozdyk in an interview on the YouTube channel Two Sides.

We remind you that Usik earlier picked the winner of the possible fight between Fury and Joshua.
